The LotusGrill has one built-in, battery-operated fan, which supplies the charcoal with air. It can also be operated without batteries using a USB cable. The fan feeds the embers in the charcoal container with a constant supply of air, meaning that the barbecue can be lit with hardly any smoke. The grill is ready to use in just 5 minutes. The more air is blown into the charcoal, the hotter it burns. Flying sparks or escaping embers are reduced to a minimum as the charcoal burns in a closed container inside the BBQ. The double-walled construction of the LotusGrill combined with the closed-off charcoal container and lockable grill grid guarantee a safe, fun BBQ experience. Any grease dripping from the food travels down the stainless steel plate in the middle of the grill grid and collects in the inner bowl of the LotusGrill, and so does not come into contact with the charcoal. This minimises the amount of smoke which the BBQ produces. Thanks to the LotusGrill XXL, you can thus finally barbecue where you eat: no need for the "pitmaster" to stand off to one side.
