The burner (for use with methylated spirit/burning gel) keeps the melted cheese warm for hours on end. The fondue pot can only be used on a gas stove. If you only have a different heat source – such as an induction or electric stove – we recommend you use a different pot to heat the fondue. Another advantage is that the pot can be popped into the dishwasher after use. Made of wood, the fondue forks should be washed by hand.
